Our Director Dr. Vinay Ranganathan, holds a Ph.D in Management from the University of Cambridge, UK, and has been actively engaged with the institution for over 15 years. Dr Vinay Ranganathan’s academic journey includes an MS in Nanotechnology and an M.Phil in Business Enterprise from Cambridge University, UK. Additionally, he holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management and Technology, as well as an MBA from the University of Liverpool, UK.
His doctoral research focused on leadership in education, leading to the publication of numerous research papers on transformational leadership within the educational sphere. Dr Vinay is acclaimed as the youngest Principal of a college in India, recognized by the Department of Education. In 2018, his institution was honoured among the top ten colleges in Bangalore by the Government of Karnataka.
Acknowledged with the Young Entrepreneur Award and the Higher Education Innovator Award, his pioneering ideas in education have earned him multiple features on BBC for his innovative approaches to leadership transformation in education. He actively contributes to the Academic Council and syllabus framing committee at Bangalore University, spearheading efforts to introduce courses on Data Analytics, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence for postgraduate and PhD programs.
Regularly invited to national and international conferences, Dr Vinay provides valuable career guidance to students, both domestically and internationally.

Mrs. Khyathi Vinay is the Director and Head of Academics at Charans Institutions and has impressive educational achievements throughout her career. This includes attaining a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Southampton and acquiring a Certificate of Advanced Leadership in Schools from Harvard University, MA. Her innovative teaching methods, tailored for the modern era, consistently earn admiration and recognition from faculty, students, parents, and administrators alike. She firmly believes that when students face challenges, they not only learn but also adjust and emerge stronger.
At Charans, her goal has consistently been to deliver a well-rounded teaching experience that not only improves educational excellence but also stimulates emotional, social, and moral growth. As a leader in education, she constantly guides students through their transformative journeys.
Ms Khyathi believes that education extends beyond the confines of conventional textbooks.
